Toowoomba is a great place to stay and explore all that the Darling Downs has to offer including Queensland’s garden city itself.  Just a sample of some of the things you can enjoy during your visit are:

Cobb & Co Museum

Cobb + Co Museum, a campus of the Queensland Museum is home to the National Carriage Collection, Australia's finest collection of horse-drawn vehicles. As well as Cobb & Co. coaches, the carriage collection has examples of a vast range of vehicles from the horse-drawn era, from farm wagons, hawkers barrows, delivery carts and buggies to an elegant landau; the Rolls Royce of carriages.  Less than 10 minutes from Clifford Gardens Motor Inn.

Jondaryan Woolshed

Built in 1859, the Jondaryan Woolshed is the oldest operating woolshed in Queensland.  The Australian Wool Story is one of the most diverse collections of all things wool since the early 19th century including shearing demonstrations, wagon rides, sheepdogs, blacksmithing, spinning and weaving demonstrations.  Only 45 kilometres west of Toowoomba.

Museum of Australian Army Flying
